Design and Experimental Study of Bionic Reverse Picking Header for Fresh Corn

Influenced by the maturity and material properties, fresh corn has problems, such as low picking rate, high energy consumption damage rate during mechanized harvesting. For above a bionic reverse header was designed using post-ripening morphology of hand-picking behavior prototypes. Model analysis structural design key components header, including reeling device, clamping device were carried out. Based on prototype, single-factor tests Box Behnken conducted to explore factors affecting working performance header. The optimal parameters determined response surface method. results showed that with increase in speed stalk feeding speed, first increased then decreased. interaction between cutter position had most significant effect rate. unique mechanism flexible could avoid collision ears. highest achieved when 416.81 rpm, 1.13 m/s, −5.45 cm.
